Language Arts: Daily Five: Students are now participating in all 5 centres.
Centre 1: ABC book - All about me book - students write sentences using descriptive words about themselves using a different letter from the alphabet.
Centre 2: Reading to Self - students pick a book at their level and read/complete a book review.
Centre 3: Writing Centre - Students use sentence starters/vocabulary to write a narrative, expository or a journal response.
Centre 4: Listen to Reading - Students listen to a story on Bookflix and complete a review including new words heard, characters and draw an illustration.
Centre 5: Word Work: Students choose a task to complete using our spelling word lists. Trace words, rainbow words, highlight, doodle words, unscramble...
During the Daily Five small groups of students will work with me with on guided reading and different reading strategies.

100th Day was on Wednesday, Feb 13th: Students participated in 5 centres throughout the afternoon celebrating 100 days of learning.
